#Blogfest 2011: Who I Met

Jen Ramos of MadeByGirl, Me, Abbe Fenimore of studioten25, Beth Dotolo of PulpDesignStudio, Ashlina Kaposta of The Decorista
It was a lot of fun meeting up with so many of the people behind the blogs!  My only regret was not meeting everyone that I'd hoped to meet.  It was a jammed packed day full of design related events, I only wish there was more time between lectures for intros and photo ops.  Here are some of the ladies I met. Others not shown that I had the pleasure of chatting with are Chassity from Look, Linger, Love, Linda from Surroundings, Janell from Isabella and Max Rooms, Stacy from StacyStyle, Marisa from StyleBeat, Nicole from Sketch42, Stacy from Quintessence and so many more...It's always great to meet with fellow bloggers because we share all these common interests.  Speaking of all things "blogging" I hope you'll check out my interview over at the Blogstress Network where they were kind enough to feature The Zhush as the blog of the month!     Sue- I've got a preschooler at home now, so I'm kind of tied down, but NEXT year when he's in full-day Kindergarten I am so going to one of these events! So much fun and look who you met!

    p.s. - I was thinking of your ski house and the diagonal wood siding you have. I'm writing a future post on that diagonal wood siding ("wall-o-wood") with some of the comments Vern Yip gave me, and maybe can have your opinion in my post, too?     you know what i love about our little blogging community? everyone is so flippin cute in real life! :) not just nerds behind a computer- but this world is chocked full of super achieving, beautiful women. it's amazing!!

    Are your eyes still bleary from all the flash? Looks like you met some really nice people, and I'm sure you guys took a ton of pics. I would have loved to have met Elizabeth from PrettyPinkTulips. She just seems so nice, and down to earth from her blog. Glad you had fun, and thanks for giving us a glimpse!

    Despite giving out quite at events myself, I also never new SWAG was an acronym. Nice to learn something new, both here and in the Blogstress interview. It was a delight to correspond with you, learn about your blogging journey, and get reinforcement that all the time spent building a blog can really pay off in the most wonderful ways.
