In my never ending quest to expand my style horizons, I've been reading
Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine (
soo good!). This new to me publication has a section entitled "Superlative Spaces" filled with exactly just that, and it's so very addictive! The perfect quick fix for inspirational decor. Now that I've branched out a bit, into other regional glossies, I'd love to know what local design magazines you love?
The first and fourth rooms have me swooning. Our living room walls are chocolate brown, however the room itself is very cluttered. I love the simplicity of it all.
ReplyDeleteYou need to get Canadian House & Home next!
ReplyDeleteI agree with H.G. - my sister introduced me to Canadian House & Home years ago- it's terrific. I see Atlanta H&L frequently referenced in the blogosphere and it always seems to have great articles - so you are clearly confirming it's a great read!
ReplyDeleteI am still DYING over the last issue of Lonny!

ReplyDeleteLove all of these. It's so amazing to me how much talent is out there and the creativity put into designing and decorating these homes. I mean, I would have NEVER thought of turning branches into a form of art for my living room wall. And that shoe nook...fab!

I love that you are always on the up and up on everything design. You work so hard to be "in the know" and I really admire that.
ReplyDeletethe branches hanging against the wood panel wall is so cool!! i love that. i finally posted about the iphone case i won from your shop!!
ReplyDeleteEach of those spaces have something unexpected that makes it so chic and exciting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful homes! I adore Canadian House & Home and Style at Home!
ReplyDeleteI loved opening your blog to these photos. The first photo is a lake house that belongs to my dear friends....they graciously invite us up throughout the summer to stay in that amazing house! I want my next house to be designed like that. Lake Martin, AL is one of my favorite places to be. Thanks! Jennifer
ReplyDeleteI agree, a good interiors mag always gives me an instant lift! I love Lonnymag.com for its online layout and gorgeous art direction.
ReplyDeleteI like the last image a lot and the first.
ReplyDeleteNot too sure about the branches though
