Every now and then, I get emails from readers planning trips to New York City and inquiring about restaurants, great sites to visit, small out of the way "secret spots", etc. Having lived in the city for several years and grown up in the suburbs (where I now reside) I'm able to give some great recommendations. But, as a creature of habit, I realize I keep going back to my same stand by favorites. Enter Tiffany and Company's new website, What Makes Love True. Tiffany's has found some great NYC gems to visit, and not just for couples! Some of these places, I know well, and some of the restaurants I'm excited to try myself. Be sure to check this out if your planning a trip here this summer, the museum ideas and out of the way secret spots are worth a look!

I love the city, it must be fantastic to only live a stones throw away. I don't think there is any other city that has the energy that NYC has. I will have to check out Tiffany's website and see what it's all about. xo
ReplyDeleteI recently headed to NYC a few weekends ago and one of my favorite spots was Ink 48, a rooftop hotel bar. Most amazing views and decor. And STIFF drinks. Highly recommend it!
ReplyDeleteI love NYC and hope I can pay a visit before too long. I know what you mean about returning to the same places again and again. For me, it's brunch at Balthazar, late lunch a Fred's and dinner at Gramercy Tavern. Can't get enough.
ReplyDeleteI should really save my pennies and get a plane ticket since those pictures look like great recommendations. Love from London xo
ReplyDeleteI think I'll be in the minority but I loathe NYC, I honestly feel out of sorts whenever I'm there, the tall buildings make me feel so hemmed in, I always have to go sit in the park to catch my breath.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm thinking a trip to NYC needs to be in the near future.. will def check out the recommendations!
