We just got back from a week in Palm Beach, Florida, where the weather was ideal and the food was amazing. It's so hard to get back into the swing of things here in chilly New York! I miss the hotel pool, the beach, and restaurants...not to mention daily housekeeping! Palm Beach style is still so fresh on my mind. A mix of mid century modern, old school Wasp prep, punchy colors, loads of faux bamboo and China Seas fabrics topped off with beach inspired accessories. These interiors by Meg Braff, epitomize everything I love in design in this region.

oh so many gorgeous patterns, and great colors! Welcome back Sue!
ReplyDeleteThose are fabulous rooms! It's so tough getting used to doing the dishes after vacation. Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteLucky you! Love this too, I would never do all the tropical in my own home because I couldn't deal with it all the time, but I LOVE to look at pictures of it! XX!
ReplyDeleteI had to save 1 & 4 pictures... So beautiful. I often envy people who can enjoy living in a warmer climate. I am definitely a sunshine girl myself, can't get enoough of it and really really really hate being cold.

I love the color and pop of PB! What would it hurt to do a PB-influenced house in New England? Especially when summer still feels so far away!
ReplyDeleteI have a trip planned for June to vist my grandpa there- can't wait!

ReplyDeleteLove Palm Beach style..so elegant, timeless and fun with all those great colors..whats not to love. I grew up with a grandmother whose house was done mostly in pink and green with dark woods and it was all quite fabulous though as kids we used to think it was funny how we referred staying over at her house to staying in "the pink room".....great pictures above...love PB, its a special gem of a place with all that gorgeous architecture. Meg Braff is a genius with this look....
ReplyDeleteLove this post on Palm Beach, colours and patterns are so cheerful! Nicolex
