The artist, Bella Foster, first showed up on my radar over a year ago. Kate Spade, had hired Ms. Foster to illustrate the company's calendar for 2010. I was instantly hooked, and ever since I've been following the work of this whimsical artist. In fact, Bella Foster can even be found occasionally blogging over at Here There And Them. Between her colorful imagery, (often compared to Matisse) and her subject matter of choice...interiors, isn't it easy to see why I just adore her work?

I also adore her work. The first piece is so great! Happy day:)

Yes, her work is totally charming. You can definitely see the Matisse influence. Yet the watercolor gives it a modern freshness.
