I'm getting ready to finally make good on my promise to my oldest (eleven year old) daughter. She's been asking me for months to turn her girlie "big girl" room into a more sophisticated stylish bedroom. Since I'm not looking to redo the entire space, the hope is that with some thoughtful tweaks (for my tween), we can both decide on a few key purchases to upgrade the look of the room. Today, I will go over these images with her, to see if we are at least on the same page. Wish me luck!

In addition to these photos, I will be showing my daughter this post from Velvet and Linen. The redo of Brooke's daughter's bedroom came out so beautiful. And, we'll take a look at Holly's bedroom inspiration over at Things That Inspire as well.

I'll have to share these with her! We've already painted her room and got the bedding but the rest is a work in progress.
