A brief perusal of the March issue of Architectural Digest, the first under the helm of the magazine's newest editor in chief, Margaret Russell, was enough to convince me to subscribe. There were so many truly amazing interiors. My favorite, was by the Los Angelos design collective, Commune. Wouldn't living in these spaces be just like inhabiting one of Tom Ford's sexiest ad campaigns? Just the type of aspirational escapism I look for in a shelter magazine...

To me, that's a very sexy getaway! I'm anxious to flip through the issue :)
ReplyDeletewhat an amazing space, fitted for what they do!
ReplyDeleteGood place to cozy on up! xo
ReplyDeleteI'll shake the Margaritas and you crush the ice. Then we park in the deck chairs in no 1..!

ReplyDeleteThis place looks so cool. I'd love to live there!
ReplyDeletewow, very Tom Ford indeed! right about now, as i've mentioned to my significant other.....i need to get away for a few days before i go mad from the winter. LA would be a fine choice! thanks for sharing, i'll HAVE to pick up their new issue soon ;)
ReplyDeleteIt would be the perfect backdrop for an independent film, perhaps a about a couple who rents this place to reignite their long lost flame, only not to be able to make that happen instead secrets are revealed...hmm I have way too much imagination..
ReplyDeleteWow these look fantastic! I love the sun beds by the pool in the first one

I am really hoping for the best with this new editor for A.D., once my favorite interiors magazine and publisher of several of my own projects.
ReplyDeleteThe spaces look so calm, green (organic), and totally inviting. Now I want a copy of the magazine, definitely.
ReplyDeleteThis is rustic chic at it's best! And I just have to say I *love* that purple, too!!! Lots of love today...

Absolutely adore the cottage look and the simplicity of this home!
ReplyDeleteAlso would like to thank you for being such a great support when I was struggling, getting no feedback at my blog. You were truly one of those whom made me go on with it, not letting me give up and the outcome is beyond words. I´m so grateful, THANK YOU Sue for helping me out!
Happy new week!
I am in LOVE with commune. They were recently in House Beautiful as well - which seems a little off their track, but it was one of the principal's houses. They have such a great style and cool concept for a firm.
ReplyDeleteGeesus, this looks like the house in "A Single Man" doesn't it? Gotta grab the new AD this afternoon. Have a lovely week, Sue (did you enter our giveaway?).
ReplyDeleteThis needs to be my next home.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looking forward to seeing this issue of Architectural Digest, love the style of this home.
