ReplyDeleteSue, I have had that Matthew Williamson rung in my archive waiting for a post...I lOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteAnd that palm chandelier is FAB!!
Love all of these pix but the things that really caught my eye were the pillows in the second shot with the shiny things sewn on...may have to make some of those!
ReplyDeleteHave always loved Paul Stuart, Marni and DVF.....i think I might rather lie down on those rugs than walk on them. Pieces of art, they are! These are all intersections where I might get honked at b/c I wouldn't want to move on by. xoxo

I - love - that - first - rug !!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt makes such sense to have fabulous fashion designer create beautiful things for the home - these rugs are such fun!
ReplyDeleteHa! Grab at coffee at the corner and I'll meet you where the street forks.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same, btw.
Though I now spend more time than I'd care to admit in pjs or workout gear (note, wearing out, not necessarily working out!) I still think the connection between design and fashion is indisputable -- plus it's so fun ;)
Happy Monday, Alcira

All it takes is a fantastic rug to bring a room to life! love them :)
ReplyDeleteI've so long been dreaming of one of Paul Smith's swirling rug company carpets. All I could afford up to now is the Rug Co. catalogue (which costs £10). But, ONE DAY!!
ReplyDeleteI am loving all the pops of pink in this post. That sofa in image#3? Love it! And these rugs are just fabulous. Thank you for introducing me to these!
ReplyDeleteThe rugs are great, but I am admiring the couches -- the pink with the white wood frame; and the the pumpkin leather with the light colored couch..stunning.
ReplyDeleteI have posted a recipe for my favorite October confection-- chocolate covered tarantulas. They are crunchy, chewy, sweet and salty, and easy to prepare. They are great for any spooky occasion, and kind of cute too (in a dark way!) I think you'd like them, Zhush!
Agree Sue, and I love it. Fashion and design inspire my art always!!
