I don't have a "favorite" but I love artwork and enjoy looking at it...truly one of life's greatest pleasures! Just wish I owned more!!!

He's a NY artist, I used to party with him and his crew some back in the day lol (can't do that kind of partying for very long, you know?!). I think art is in the eye of the beholder so any artist that catches my eye is one I would look into. Penny Putnam and Charon are two of my favorites!

ReplyDeleteI like to purchase art from local artists. There is a photographer in my area that has some beautiful work. I'm smitten with an enormous closeup shot of a dahlia against a blue sky.

LOVE the Elliott Puckette - she's one of my current favorites and how can you not love Helen Frankenthaler - an icon!! Did you know she lives not far from you in Darien?
