You don't have to ask me twice... if one WANTS. One should GET! It's just going to drive you nuts until you give in to it! Treat yourself! {I'm a huge fan of doing that}.
Debra and Sissy, right now the Jeff Koons puppy vase sells for roughly $7,500.00, IF you can even find one...thinking I will not be getting one in the near future :(
needs and wants-sometimes it gets you at your weakest moments...it is such a sophisticated dog with the price tag. i will just set it aside to dream about. lovely! maryann
I am so amazed you found this many images of this little pup! I think I will have to pass on this doggie in the window....I can't afford his pedigree!!!
Jeff Koons has always fascinated me....I like it best on the black geometric hall table. What a contrast! The title of your post made me chuckle, because last night as I was watching the show Hoarders: Buried Alive (talk about fascinating!) the therapist was telling one of the hoarders "I think you are confusing Need with Want" Well, DUH!! WE ALL DO!
I have not seen this darling yet very expensive little dog. He is awfully cute but boy is he a pretty penny. He will become your new quest to find one that looks similar, I am sure. I guess he is a want for sure, but that is OK to want little pretties, You just keep wanting and doing these fun post, I love it! Kathysue
I want one as well. I found you via the shiny pebble (she is so grand) and funny enough I have the light fixture you have on your logo image but in chrome and crystal. Love your blog.
I have to admit, I have never understood the intense popularity of that little pooch! Is it Mr. Koons? Or the dog? Hmmmm. I do think it's a creative little vase, though! Marija
Wow, was the song "How much is that doggie in the window?" befitting for this Koons porcelain. Considering my last bet bill, that pooch may be much more economical and demand no walks or treats. pve
OMG! I can't believe you found so many inspiration photos with the same puppy in them. I agree $7500 could be much better spent, but I hope you can find a knock off of some sort somewhere to satisfy the want. :-)
Ok girlie, I must have been sleeping under a rock or something, because I have totally missed this handsome doggie. But on the other hand I don't have close to a $8000 to spend on a vase either.! Haha! But your photo collection is tres chic! (As always!). Happy new week, friend!
OMG I adore him but I can't believe what I have read in the comments that he costs soooooooo much! We should get in the business of knockoffs together!
xoxo Bardot in Blue
PS Love your new banner! Will change it for your blog button in my sidebar this week when I get a chance!

Thanks for stopping by my blog Love!! This post really put a smile on my face. It reminded me of the travelocity elf haha! What a cute vase. So unique!!
OMG this is the cutest post ever!!! Seeing that pooch in all those rooms is hilarious and the price tag is somewhat unbelievable. It's just too cute for words:) xo
If only I didn't NEED to have my rent check ready every month... I just found a flowery version that Koons did on Artnet online auctions- https://www.artnet.com/AUCTIONS/Pages/Lots/24892.aspx?q=SearchIn%3DPrints%26sortby%3Dlowest%26scroll%3D0%26page%3D1%26view%3Dbrief I'm in love!

Most things that I claim I need for my house are wants only, but a girl can't control what she wants, right?
ReplyDeleteThat was the first time I've seen that little doggy. I need to get out more

ReplyDeleteNEED!!!!!! We have a westy and although 7500 is a bit steep, if it were a lot cheaper it would be so cute to put in our living room!
