Over the weekend, I received the sweetest little book in the mail from
Schiffer Publishing, aptly entitled
Palm Springs: Mid Century Modern Postcard Book. As you might guess from the name, this book consists entirely of beautiful postcards of Palm Spring's famous sleek and minimalist mid century architecture. I was particularly drawn to all the colorful front doors. While I've never been to Palm Springs, it's very high on my list of places to visit some day. The photography here, by Dolly Faibyshev, captures some of the bluest skies I've ever seen, reason enough for a trip in my book! If you know a mid-century modern fanatic, this would make a very thoughtful gift.
