Closet Story


It's no secret that I love to poke around the "house" section of New York Social Diary, I've even blogged about it before, here.  It's also no secret that I adore the interiors of New York City based designer Sara Story, having most recently written about her work, here.  So when her gorgeous apartment showed up on this site, I was thrilled.  Even though I have seen most of these images before, there is something so intimate about the way NYSD captures these interiors.  And speaking of intimate, I love getting a peak at well designed closets and dressing areas...this one really took my breath away.

    That closet is heavenly. I'm thinking ... Wouldn't it be great if it could just plop down inside my home - contents and all! Love that vintage mirror too!

    Oh I haven't had a chance to pop over to NYSD lately - clearly a must do!! LOVE Sara Story as well and this closet is just drool-worthy!! Having a dressing table built in would be so lovely!!

    i LOVE closets - i can NOT wait till i convert one of my bedrooms on my second floor into my DREAM closet! - LOTS of work ahead of me!!!

    The insides of closets and refrigerators do it for me! There's really no hiding who you are in either place! This is gorgeous! I'm guessing the woman who owns it is also.

    I like seeing Real closet interiors. Mine is sort of always a mess, but I got some nice ideas from your post. A ladder. Duh. I'm getting one tomorrow. : )
