Lately it seems that feathers in home decor are really catching my eye. Whether they're illustrated figuratively as a print on fabric or wallpaper, or literally used to adorn pillows or light fixtures..it seems I'm drawn to this fluffy theme right now. What's catching your eye these days?

Love all the feathers!! In fact I've been looking for a little feather jacket - thought it would be a fun spring alternative to fur!!
ReplyDeleteLove the wall collage in the last photo! O.k., so I am going to age myself a bit but do you remember feather earrings? hee hee
ReplyDeleteI for one, am an enormous fan of feathers. Like cannot get enough. I still am need that juju hat for my bedroom!

Pretty post!
ReplyDeleteAdore the fabric in the first bedhead!
Yummy!!
Wow, they are all amazing. I'm loving the pop of color in the first pic against the dark wall. Great post!
ReplyDeleteColoured Murano glass is making me weak at the knees.
ReplyDeletelove that texture and those color pops! ooh baby!
ReplyDeleteI have not "met" a furry pillow that doesn't shed...any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun approach! Mch more stylish than the usual Peacock feather arrangement don't you think?
ReplyDeleteI will forever be a feather freak.
ReplyDeleteI am loving this trend, I just bought an ostrich feather pillow.
ReplyDeleteLove that last image and the fabulous fluffiness of this post!

juju hats are so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the fluffy pillow in the first image but they shed and I have enough shedding with our Dylan. Lately I'm heavily into architectural prints probably because I'm working on the husbands birthday gift.
ReplyDeleteLove that furry pillow. I am really into little dishes, bowls and "catch-alls" right now. Can't get enough!
ReplyDeleteI think feathers add a sense of fun and some texture. That pillow in the first photo looks like it belongs to Big Bird!

Beautiful pictures. I love the look, however my allergies do not!
ReplyDeleteI am not much of a fan of the pillows (likely because practicality is kicking in and I am thinking about allergies), but I do love that piece with the two feather crisscrossing between the beds. I've never seen anything like it, and it is quite striking.
ReplyDeleteLove the whimsy they add to a space. Very fun!
ReplyDeleteI really want/need one of those fluffy pillows!!
ReplyDeleteWhich girl doesn't like things all pretty and fluffy? I know I do! Lovely inspirations.
ReplyDeleteIn love with the fluffy pillow but I'm not much of a feather fan. The last photo with the settee and the framed prints is so great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images I love the sofa in the last picture it looks stunning against that purple/plum wall & the frames on the wall look great
ReplyDeleteYou have such the eye! I would never have thought to do this but it looks fabulous. You always introduce me to the neatest things.
ReplyDeleteLove, especially that first image!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the feather trend, in print and the real deal! There is just such a great effect that you can't get with anything else...Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love feather prints -- so pretty.

Gorgeous photos! I also love feathers in decor- so whimsical and pretty! I also love this paired with a more modern, rustic look! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the look of feathers, especially in fashion, but somehow they seem germ-y in home decor. I know, it doesn't make sense. But my latest crush is alpaca and flokati pillows. Love it with global ikat prints mixed with 70's chrome and brass.
ReplyDeleteLove the juju hats, just wish they were a little bit less expensive. Also, go figure, wallpaper is catching my eye and I'm a renter...
ReplyDeleteBirds of a feather....flock together. And, I'll flock with you on interior design any ole time!!!
ReplyDeleteLove these images...just goes to show you any item, when presented well, can impact a space!!!
Flying off....xoxo
Love those feather poof lights. I'd love a bunch of them, or even just chines lanterns, draped over my bed.
ReplyDeleteWait a minute, isn't that first one not a long haired sheep skin pillow? I have one just like it...Ain't no feathers...
ReplyDeleteOr disguised as sheep?
But gorgeous regardless!!!
Love these! That white tufted headboard is SO on my wishlist!!
ReplyDeleteThe feather wall hanging in the second pic is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteMy eyes keep being drawn to little splashes of stylish black, amongst whites and neutrals. I love it.
Feathers are so pretty! The juju hat is really a lovely way to add texture isn't it? I love all the examples you have shown :)

Beautiful rooms! I kinda love juju hats and that feather pillow is so fun!
ReplyDeleteFunny I was just looking at peacock feathers in my local craft store yesterday! Gorgeous inspiration you have here, if I had seen these first, I would have bought them!
