Craving: Serene and Clean

Spring has finally sprung here in suburbia...and along with it, muddy cleats, sports equipment and multiple travel soccer schedules that would make General Patton whimper.  Is it any wonder that I find myself drawn to clean, serene and "zen-like" spaces during these hectic weeks?  These calm and cool images from the online portfolio of Tori Golub are like an inspirational "cyber spa" for my frazzled soul!

    Gorgeous pictures. I love this serene calming feeling/look in a house just never seems realistic for anything but a bedroom for me

    I think there are a lot of frazzled bloggers out there because I've been seeing a lot of "clean," "serene," "clutter-free" spaces!! These photos are gorgeous :)

    Couldn't agree more. Just grateful that most activities are cancelled this week - which means a break for the driver! :)

    the white bedside cabinet is gorgeous another one for the files, although I was convinced in going dark with the bedroom furniture for an eastern feel then I see a gorgeous white cabinet like that & Im torn to go back to white & bright again

    So pretty, and soothing calm is what I too could use a dose of. I think we crave that sense of calm and serenity and look for it in furnishings and in our surroundings.

    Argh...I came home to a beautifully cleaned home today (not by me)...and not 5 minutes later 1 kid tracked in mud and leaves and the other had laid towels down on the bathroom floor and was mixing a concoction of leaves, water and dirt in a beach bucket?!?! I've lot all control over here.

    But your serene images are calming my soul, thanks doll!
