Agree with Rene - I'll never be over it - leopard is a classic that will always be around just perhaps not in the obsessive way it was this year! My mother had a real skin pair of shoes exactly like those from the '40s - shows you what goes around comes around!
Sue, You know I am a lover of leopard! The first image is simply fabulous, the leopard carpeting made me smile as I have wall to wall leopard carpeting in our Hamptons lower level. I'm currently having a custom leopard table runner made for our dining room. Leopard is timeless and chic...it's been around forever!
It's fabulous - when done right. However, some people get it so very wrong (tacky cheap fabrics or cuts) that it can easily descend into drag-queen territory... These are lovely though, very stylish :-) Have a great week, Love from London x
Sue, when I was in Italy this year there was a dress in a window that had a polka dot bottom and a leopard top that I died for!!! I will always have a touch of leopard in my wardrobe. I have a scarf that I still wear or tie on my person that is at least 17rs old!!! It is a classic, Kathysue
Can a gal ever REALLY be over leopard?! Just got my first pair of leopard print flats a few weeks ago and I'm completely enamored. Been wearing them with EVERYTHING.
Great post. When we moved into or house there was a leopard runner & hallway rug that was brand spanking new & I thought we would replace it, but I love it now and it was such a great carpet that it still looks wonderful 5 years later. Ho ho ho, Colleen
That is such a great post..I also adore leopard print and the first photo is amazing! Happy Monday
ReplyDeletePs: I am hosting a beautiful home decor GIVEAWAY later today, just in time for Christmas!
Must we ever be over it? I love leopard print and hope it is a classic that is here to stay.

Agree with Mon - all animal prints should be used with a dash of moderation and spontaneity.
