I'm completely obsessed with Sputniks! Retro cool and forward thinking all at once...like any great outer space design should be. These fabulous fixtures seem to elevate every decor style into the next stratosphere. I need to figure out where to incorporate one of these in my home.

It would have to be just the right room for me to have one, but I do love your inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLove the 3 of them together in the 6th picture :)
ReplyDeletethese fixture are so whimsical and they feel a space very nicely. I am not into self promoting but you might like the Mobile chandelier by Jose Esteves. it was in the November issue of Elle Decors. Or you can see it at:

ReplyDeleteI like how the fixture is incorporated into a more traditional room in the first image. It's definitely more my taste!
ReplyDeleteLove the dash of whimsy they add to any room...so fun!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is one that is short is fantastic. It's drama and whimsy all in one package!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love these!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was initially doing up Villa Nero, these were high on my list.
Then somehow, I didn't get around to getting one, and now I think back on them fondly -- hope you're planning on popping one up somewhere at your place.

ReplyDeleteIt definitely brightens up a room!
ReplyDeleteI love them too- I want to try the Lindsay Adelman DIY sputnik like light- looks alot like the first one but more random in shape. I love how Sputniks are gold and glamorous but still a bit rough- not too pretty. Definitely on my wish list.

ReplyDeleteMelanie's Randomness
Oh yes these are all so cool! They totally make each room!
ReplyDeleteLuvs!
I adore this whole "Can't Get Enough" riff you've been doing! I might be obsessed with it actually. The sputniks post is brilliant. So yesterday, so now. The Jan-Feb New England Home Connecticut has a to-die-for dining room with a vertical sputnik chandelier (and fushia Kravat-covered chairs) that you'll love!
ReplyDeleteHaha, these are adorable -- I love it.
