ReplyDeleteI am in a phase of loving "cool tones". When we moved into our house all of the walls were taupe and warm tones of taupe.. I'm ready to paint it all white and get some cool tones in there!!
That bathtub is large enough that I could fill it with cold water and pretend that I was at the pool. Ahh, at the pool, that's where I wish I was right now- its so darn hot out!

ReplyDeleteLove it though I would probably have to bring in a few bold accessories (hot pink? orange? turquoise?) to keep it happy. Though I absolutely adore the bathroom with the gorgeous marble surround on the bath. I wouldn't change that one bit.

Wow. That's almost all I can say! This aesthetic is exactly what my husband and I are shooting for ... And he would probably die just as much as I have for the color scheme. It just goes to show you that going with shades of a certain hue CAN work in a space -- Love!

This is probably our favorite, most creative project that we have ever worked on, and that master bedroom is hands down our favorite room.

OneCraftFox - That wood is wide-plank poplar with a V-joint, ran horizontal, with a light great paint wash applied to cool down the greenish cast of the wood, and give it a more uniform appearance.
Averill - We often punch up of designs with some bold touches of color, but in this care, our client wanted everything soft, serene, cool and blue.
