Everything Above Sea Level
While searching for a new warm winter coat, I stumbled across these adorable images on the Moncler website. I love how this fashion line goes from utilitarian ski slope chic right up to runway worthy high fashion. Warmth on every rung of the fashion ladder...what's better than that?

Craving: Cozy
Greetings from what looks like the North Pole here in New York! Hope you all had a lovely holiday. With negative degree temps whipping around outside, I'm ready to curl up in front of a crackling fire with some good books, a pile of tartan blankets, my entire net flix que and my latest obsession....microwave popcorn drizzled with white truffle oil and sea salt! I plan on staying in my toasty flannel PJs all day! What are you craving today?

Sunday Style Obsession: Paint The Town Glittery!
{happy birthday}
{boom boom pow}
{today was a fairytale}
{across the universe}
Truth be told, our New Years Eve celebrations are very low key. But, that doesn't mean we don't favor a little bit of glitz and glam along with our Champagne and plastic party horns. These nail polishes, a fabulous stocking stuffer, will now play center stage in our nod to New Year's glamour. Even if we are sporting cozy sweaters and jeans, we still want to feel a little frivolous on New Years Eve. Cheers!

Lyrical Lovelies

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
will find it hard to sleep tonight.

Bath vs. Shower
Only two days until Christmas! A house full of children home on winter break, guests expected tomorrow...this exhausted Mama is in desperate need of some "me" time in order to recharge. These days, my go to fortress of solitude is a long steam filled shower. However, I have many friends that swear by the restorative powers of a hot soak in the tub. Despite installing a beautiful bathtub in our Master Bath, I confess, I have only used it just once. While I find them absolutely lovely to look at, to me there is nothing appealing about a warm bath. So which one are you? Do you prefer to shower and steam or bubble and bathe?

Or, maybe you're a little bit of both!
{so clever!}

Everthing Gold Is New Again
Several years ago, one of my very stylish Aunts gifted me some of her vintage "gold ware". At the time, I had never seen anything like it. Now that I find myself perusing the internet for Holiday table setting inspiration, I'm wondering where I've stashed these pieces! I really hope I can find them before Saturday...wish me luck!

Let's Get Pinned!
Jewelry, like everything else in the fashion world is cyclical. With statement bib necklaces and knuckle dusting cocktail rings having run their course for quite some time now, it won't be long before brooches have their moment in the spotlight again. Fortunately, there are amazing examples at every price point. These beauties range from $36.00 on up to six figures! Can you tell which is which?
